If you have more than one monitor connected to your computer, you can set any of them as your primary monitor. Your primary monitor is where your computer’s desktop appears, and it’s usually the monitor you use most often. You can set your primary monitor in Windows 10’s Settings app.
To do this, open Settings and go to the “System” group of settings. On the left side of the System window, select “Display.” On the right side of the window, under “Select and rearrange displays,” click the “Detect” button. Windows will then detect your monitors and show them to you in a list.
To set a monitor as your primary display, click the “Make this my main display” checkbox next to it. You can also use the “Display resolution” drop-down menus to set each monitor’s resolution and the “Orientation” drop-down menus to set each monitor’s orientation. When you’re done, click the “Apply” button.
