If you have more than one monitor connected to your computer, you can set which one is the main display. This is the display that will show the desktop when you turn on the computer, and is where windows will open by default. You can also choose which monitor is the primary display in the Display Settings menu.
To make your monitor the main display, follow these steps:
- Click the Start button, then click Control Panel.
- Click Appearance and Personalization, then click Display.
- Click the drop-down menu next to Primary display, then click the monitor that you want to use as the main display.
- Click OK.
Your monitor is now the main display. All future windows will open on this monitor, and it will be the display that shows the desktop when you turn on the computer.
