If you have recently upgraded to Windows 10, you may have noticed that the screen doesn’t fit your monitor as well as it used to. This can be a frustrating experience, but luckily there are a few things you can do to fix the problem.
The first thing you should do is check the resolution of your monitor. If it is set to a lower resolution than your screen, you will need to change it. To do this, right-click on your desktop and select “Display Settings.” Under “Resolution,” select the highest setting that your monitor can handle. If you’re not sure what resolution your monitor can handle, you can check the manufacturer’s website.
If your monitor’s resolution is set correctly and you’re still having trouble, the next thing you can try is to adjust the scaling. To do this, go back to “Display Settings” and under “Scale and Layout,” change the “Change the size of text, apps, and other items” setting. Again, you’ll want to experiment to see what looks best on your particular monitor.
If you’re still having trouble, there are a few other things you can try. One is to use the “display adapter troubleshooter.” To do this, go to “Settings,” then “Update & Security,” and then “Troubleshoot.” Select “Display Adapter” from the list of options and follow the instructions. Another thing you can try is to update your drivers. You can do this by going to “Device Manager,” finding your display adapter, right-clicking on it, and selecting “Update Driver.”
If you’ve tried all of these things and you’re still having trouble, it’s possible that your monitor is not compatible with Windows 10. In this case, you may need to buy a new monitor.
