If you’re a PC gamer, chances are you’re familiar with the term “crosshair.” A crosshair is simply a small dot in the center of your screen that helps you aim your gun more accurately in first-person shooters. While most monitors come with a crosshair feature, it’s often disabled by default. That’s why we’re here to show you how to enable crosshair on MSI monitors.
The first thing you need to do is open up the OSD (On Screen Display) menu. To do this, press and hold the “Menu” button on the back of your monitor for about 5 seconds. Once the menu appears on your screen, use the arrow keys to navigate to the “Crosshair” option and press the “OK” button to select it.
Now that the Crosshair menu is open, you’ll see a few different options that you can adjust. The first is “Crosshair Type.” Here, you can choose between four different crosshair types:
- Small Dot
- Large Dot
The next option is “Crosshair Color.” Here, you can choose between eight different colors for your crosshair. Simply use the arrow keys to navigate to the color you want and press the “OK” button to select it.
The last option is “Crosshair Opacity.” This allows you to adjust how opaque your crosshair is. By default, it’s set to “100%,” but you can lower it if you want your crosshair to be less visible. Once you’ve made your changes, press the “Menu” button to save them and exit the menu.
