If you’re like most people, you probably use your MacBook for a variety of tasks. But did you know that you can close your MacBook and still use an external monitor? It’s true!
Here’s how to do it:
- First, make sure that your external monitor is plugged into your MacBook’s Thunderbolt port.
- Next, close your MacBook’s lid.
- Your MacBook will enter what’s called “clamshell mode.”
- You can now use your external monitor just like you would if your MacBook’s lid was open.
That’s all there is to it! Now you can take your MacBook with you wherever you go, without having to worry about lugging around a separate monitor.
